DESCRIPTION:Saturation of gluon distribution is a consequence of\nnon-line
ar evolution equations of QCD. Saturation implies\nthe existence of so cal
led saturation momentum which is\ngluon density per unit rapidity per tran
sverse area. At\nlarge energies for certain kinematical domains saturation
\nmomentum is the only scale for physical processes. As\na consequence dif
ferent observables exhibit so called \ngeometrical scaling (GS). We shall
give brief introduction to\nthe physics of saturation and then discuss a n
umber of\nexamples of GS and its violation in different reactions.\n\nhttp
