DESCRIPTION:The conference "Scalars 2017" will be held in Warsaw in Novemb
 er/December 2017. The meeting is organized jointly by the Faculty of Physi
 cs at the University of Warsaw and the Division for Physics of Fundamental
  Interactions of the Polish Physical Society. The conference will take pla
 ce at the OCHOTA campus of the University of Warsaw. The meeting will star
 t with the registration on November 30th (Thursday) in the morning (8-9 am
 ) followed by the opening at 9 am. The conference "Scalars 2017" is a cont
 inuation of earlier "Scalars" organized in Warsaw in 2011\, 2013\,  and 2
 015. The goal of the meeting is to provide  an opportunity to discuss var
 ious aspects of physics of scalar particles. In particular we plan to cove
 r the following issues:\n		SM Higgs boson: theory and experiment\n	\n		Exp
 erimental constraints on possible scalar sectors\n	\n		Extensions of the m
 inimal scalar sector of the Standard Model\, e.g. multi-Higgs dublet model
 s\, the Georgi-Machacek model\, ...\n	\n		Scalars in cosmology: dark matte
 r\, baryogenesis\, inflatons\, axions\, relaxions\, etc.\n	\n		Scale-invar
 iant scalar sectors\n	\n		Composite Higgs bosons\n	\n		Effective field the
 ory approach to Higgs physics\n	\n		Elementary scalars within extra dimens
 ions: gauge-Higgs\, unification\, stabilization of extra  dimensions\, ra
 dions\, bulk scalars\, etc...\n	\n		Fundamental scalars within supersymmet
 ric extensions of the SM\n	\n		Higgs bosons on lattice\n	\n		Future experi
 mental searches for scalars\, e.g. at LHC or ILC\n
