DESCRIPTION:The conference "Scalars 2019" will be held in Warsaw in Septem
 ber 2019. The meeting is organized jointly by the Faculty of Physics at th
 e University of Warsaw and the Division for Physics of Fundamental Interac
 tions of the Polish Physical Society. The conference will take place at th
 e OCHOTA campus of the University of Warsaw. The meeting will start with t
 he registration on September 11th (Wednesday) in the morning (8-9 am) foll
 owed by an opening at 8:50 am. The conference "Scalars 2019" is a continua
 tion of earlier "Scalars" organized in Warsaw in 2011\, 2013\,  2015 and 
 2017. The goal of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to discuss vari
 ous aspects of physics of scalar particles. In particular we plan to cover
  the following issues:\n		SM Higgs boson: theory and experiment\n	\n		Effe
 ctive field theory in Higgs physics\n	\n		Experimental constraints on poss
 ible scalar sectors\n	\n		Extensions of the minimal scalar sector of the S
 tandard Model\, e.g. multi Higgs-dublet models\, the Georgi-Machacek model
 \, ...\n	\n		Scalars in cosmology: dark matter\, baryogenesis\, inflatons\
 , axions\, relaxions\, etc.\n	\n		Scale-invariant scalar sectors\n	\n		Com
 posite Higgs bosons\n	\n		Elementary scalars within extra dimensions: gaug
 e-Higgs unification\, stabilization of extra  dimensions\, radions\, bulk
  scalars\, etc...\n	\n		Fundamental scalars within supersymmetric extensio
 ns of the SM\n	\n		Future experimental searches for scalars\, e.g. at LHC 
 or ILC\n\n				Previous meetings\n				 \n				\n						2011\n					\n						20
