Description |
Non-perturbative aspects of QCD are usually investigated by performing Path Integral Monte-Carlo calculations on a finite lattice with imaginary time. I propose a procedure of determining energy spectra of interacting fields discretized on a space lattice using real time: solve the Heisenberg equations of motion by a numerical procedure devised by Bender. It is orders of magnitude more efficient. Examples from Quantum Mechanics, one dimensional scalar field and two dimensional SU(2) gauge theory will be presented. |
