Making the most of SMS results

Presented by Suchita KULKARNI on 26 Jun 2014 from 17:50 to 18:10
Type: Parallel talk
Track: SUSY

Content

Simplified model spectra (SMS) results are a generic way of interpreting the Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) searches. SModelS is a tool developed to exploit the power of SMS results to test BSM parameter space. I present an application of SModelS to various SUSY scenarios. I discuss how the SMS limits constrain various particle masses and which regions of parameter space remain unchallenged by the current SMS interpretations of the LHC results. I take specific examples of MSSM parameter space with neutralino LSP as well as extensions of MSSM scenarios e.g. NMSSM and a model containing sneutrino LSP dark matter candidate.
