DESCRIPTION:Speakers: GAVELA\, Belen (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and I
FT-UAM/CSIC)\nI will first motivate axions and ALPS in general\, including
the new recent directions on heavy (QCD) axions. I will then discuss ALPs
effective couplings in all generality\, within two different setups for e
lectroweak symmetry breaking: the the linear and non-linear expansion. Co
mplete basis for both cases up to NLO are determined. Associated new bound
s are derived on the strengths of those couplings. Future prospects will b
e analyzed as well\, contemplating LHC and High Luminosity LHC sensitiviti
es. Mono-Z\, mono-W\, W-photon plus missing energy and on-shell top final
states are most promising signals expected in both frameworks. In addition
\, non-standard Higgs decays and mono-Higgs signatures are especially prom
inent and expected in non-linear realizations.\n\nhttp://indico.fuw.edu.pl

SUMMARY:Leptogenesis after Inflation in a Pati-Salam Model

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: RABY\, Stuart (The Ohio State University)\nIn this t
alk I discuss a supersymmetric Pati-Salam model of fermion masses and mixi
ng angles which fits low energy data. The model is then extended to incl
ude an inflationary sector which is shown to be consistent with Bicep2-Kec
k-Planck data. The energy scale during inflation is associated with the P
S symmetry breaking scale.\nFinally\, the model is shown to be consistent
with the observed baryon-to-entropy ratio necessary for Big Bang Nucleosyn
thesis.\nIt turns out that only the heaviest right-handed neutrino decays
produce the correct sign of the baryon-to-entropy ratio.\nNevertheless\, w
e obtain the observed value due to the process of instant reheating.\n\nht
