November 30th, 6-8:30 pm: the welcome reception will take place in the lobby of the CENT I building (ground floor) at the Ochota campus, consult Venue to see the location on the map.


December 1st, 7-10 pm: the conference dinner will take place in "Pod Gigantami" restaurant, Al. Ujazdowskie 24. On 17 October 2015, at the "100 Best Restaurants in Poland " Gala, restaurant Pod Gigantami received the GRAND AWARD OF EXCELLENCE - THREE FORKS - in the category of Best Restaurant in Poland in 2015. 
Directions

There are two options to reach the restaurant. One can take the tram 7, 9 or 25 from the stop Och-Teatr to the stop Muzeum Narodowe and have a 600m walk through the square Plac Trzech Krzyży. The second option is to take a bus 188 from the stop Banacha-Szpital to the stop Plac na Rozdrożu and change there to bus 116, 180, 222, 503 going to the stop Plac Trzech Krzyży which is 100m from the restaurant.


December 2nd, 7:30-8:30 pm: a special Chopin concert for participants of Scalars 2017 will be held in the Tyszkiewich-Potocki Palace situated on Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, next to the Visitationist Church at the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw, see directions. The palace is regarded as one of the most beautiful neoclassical buildings in Warsaw.
