Session: Parallel 8
We consider the possibility of an oscillating scalar field accounting for dark matter and dynamically controlling the spontaneous breaking of the electroweak symmetry through a Higgs-portal coupling. This requires a late decay of the inflaton field, such that thermal effects do not restore the electroweak symmetry after reheating, and so inflation is followed by an inflaton matter-dominated epoch. ... We discuss a setup in which freeze-in scalar singlet dark matter production can be probed through dark matter decay. If dark matter consists of two or more flavors of scalar singlets, transitions between dark matter particles can serve as a probe of the coupling that sets the relic abundance and give rise to gamma-ray spectral features.

We set conservative constraints on decaying dark matter particles with masses spanning a very wide range (10^4 − 10^16 GeV). For this we use multimessenger observations of cosmic-ray (CR) protons/antiprotons, electrons/positrons, neutrinos/antineutrinos and gamma rays. Focusing on decays into the b bbar channel, we simulate the spectra of dark matter yields by using the Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov ... More

We extend the Standard Model (SM) with parity symmetry, motivated by the strong CP problem and dark matter. In our model, parity symmetry is conserved at high energy by introducing a mirror sector with the extra gauge symmetry, SU(2)R×U(1)R. The charges of SU(2)R×U(1)R are assigned to the mirror fields in the same way as in the SM, but the chiralities of the mirror fermions are opposite to respe ... More
