Directions for public transport users:

In all the cases, take a tram 7, 9 or 25 from the stop "OCH TEATR" located close to the conference site. Once you approach the tram stop, the direction to the city center is to the right.

To the National Filharmony, exit at the stop "CENTRUM", after about 15 minutes on the tram. Then walk to the left along Marszalkowska street (about 500m) and turn right into Moniuszki street (just in front of a construction site). The Filharmony is at the corner of Moniuszki and Jasna streets, with the entrance from Moniuszki street. This is the entrance that leads to the Chamber Music Hall ("Sala kameralna"). Instead of walking along Marszalkowska street, it is possible to take another tram in that direction and exit at the first stop ("METRO SWIETOKRZYSKA"). This requires reaching another platform (towards "ZOLIBORZ") of the "CENTRUM" tram stop via an underground passage. Any tram from that platform is fine (4, 15, 18, 35).

To the Staszic Palace and/or the Villa Foksal restaurant, exit the "7, 9, 25" trams two stops further, at the "MUZEUM NARODOWE" tram stop (a round-about with an artificial palm tree in the middle). Walk to the left (north) into the Nowy Swiat street, and reach the corner of the Foksal street. To the restaurant, just turn right and walk to the end of the Foksal street. There are two restaurants there: "Endorfina" (a big gate in front) and "Villa Foksal" (a smaller gate to the right).

Reaching the Staszic Palace from the corner of Nowy Swiat and Foksal streets requires about 1km walking along the Nowy Swiat street. One can also take a bus from the bus stop "FOKSAL". Any bus from that stop northwards is fine (111, 116, 128, 175, 180, 222, 503, E-2). Exit at the second stop called "UNIWERSYTET" - this is the main University campus. From that stop, walk back towards the Staszic Palace. A large statue of
Copernicus in front of the palace makes it easily recognizable.
