PLANCK 2023 – The 25th International Conference From the Planck Scale to the Electroweak Scale

Conference fee

There are two types of registration fee for PLANCK 2023 conference, available both in early and late registration – the basic and extended registration fee.   

The basic registration fee is 1600 PLN (~341 EUR) for early registration and 2100 PLN (~448 EUR) for late registration. The registration fee covers participation in the conference, a welcome pack, lunches served on site, coffee breaks, and participation in the welcome reception.   

The extended registration fee is 1940 PLN (~414 EUR) for the early registration and 2480 PLN (~530 EUR) for the late registration. The extended conference fee also includes participation in the conference dinner. This type of registration is available only until 10 May 2023.

The early registration deadline is 21 April 2023, after this dates all registration will be a subject to the late registration fees.   

The conference fee does not include accommodation and transport.
 

Accompanying person

The fee for an accompanying person is 960 PLN (incl. tax) (~200 EUR) before 21st April 2023, and 1150 PLN (incl. tax) (~240 EUR) from 22nd April 2023.

The fee covers participation in the welcome reception, lunches and coffee breaks.


Registration procedure

  1. Fill out the registration form. You can access it by clicking here. The same form in polish language is available here
  2. In the first step you will be asked if the invoice for your participation should be issued for an organization (e.g. university) or for a physical person (e.g James Maxwell). Please note, that it is not possible to change the invoicing data after receving the payment.
  3. You can choose if you want to pay directly with credit card / PayPal or by bank transfer.
  4. If you select PayPal payment, after completing the form you will be directly forward to a PayPal webpage to process the payment.
  5. If you select bank transfer, please send the bank transfer up to 14 calendar days after completing the form. Otherwise your registration will be cancelled. If you need more time, we encourage you to contact us by letting us know by email at planck2023@candela.org.pl. Please specify the pro forma number that we generated in the registration system in the title of the bank transfer (you will receive it by email after completing the last steps of the registration).
  6. If you select bank transfer, please note that all bank and transfer fee must be covered by the sender.
  7. After completing the form you will receive a confirmation of submitting the form and confirmation of processing the payment. If you don’t receive it (please check your SPAM folder first), please contact us with details of the process.
  8. Once we receive the payment, you will be notified about it in 2 working days.
  9. Up to 7 working days after receiving the payment, the Candela Foundation will send you an invoice. The invoice will be delivered by email using the address submitted in the registration form.

The registration is closed.


Please note the question about consent for publishing information about the participans. Due to European GRPR regulations we are required to obtain your consent before publishing your personal information (in this case: name, family name and affiliations). Without this consent we will not be able to include you in the list of contributors that is availble on this webiste (click here to access it).

Payments – possible options

The conference fee can be paid with bank transfer or with credit card (currently we are using PayPal as operator). The conference fees are declared in PLN, but we can also accept bank transfers in EUR and USD. To convert your registration fee, please fill out the registration form by choosing "bank transfer" as payment method, complete the payment and contact us afterwards (planck2023@candela.org.pl). Based on the information from the registration we will issue a pro-forma invoice in EUR/USD based on an exact exchange rate for that day (published by National Bank of Poland).

For payments issued after 21st May 2023, in particular for on-site registrations, we will accept only card payments. We cannot accept any payments in cash.

Bank Wire Transfer and other related fees should be paid by the registrant (please verify carefully during the Wire Transfer payment that all costs are charged to you).

Accomodation grants

Candela Foundation prepared a number of accomodation grants (covering stay from 21 to 27 May 2023). The applications will be evaluated in two rounds. The form will accept applications untill 29 April 2023. In case any questions arise on this topic, please contact the organizers by sending an email to planck2023@candela.org.pl

The application process is closed.
 

Scam warning

In recent years there have been scam attempts targeted at conference attendees, so we’re warning you preemptively that:
  • All emails from the Organising Committee will only be sent from @candela.org.pl, @fuw.edu.pl, or @uw.edu.pl domains.
  • We will be charging only the above mentioned conference fee. No other payments related in any way to PLANCK2023 will be asked by the Organizing Committee.
  • Accommodation and transport are not included in the workshop fee, therefore we will not offer booking assistance to the participants.

Any of the aforementioned points may be subject to scam, so we are asking you to stay cautious. If you are uncertain at any point, please contact us at planck2023@candela.org.pl

Cancellation and refunds

Refunds are possible. 50% of the sum paid can be refunded for requests delivered to us before 1 May 2023. After this date the refunds are not possible. To request a refund, please contact the Candela Foundation with details the of your registration by sending us an email at planck2023@candela.org.pl or events@candela.org.pl
