Scalar revelations at future e+e- colliders

Presented by Howard HABER on 13 Sep 2023 from 11:30 to 12:00

Content

Precision Higgs studies at future e+e- colliders have the potential for addressing some of the long-standing mysteries of the Standard Model associated with electroweak symmetry breaking. Precise measures of Higgs couplings to gauge bosons and fermions as well as evidence for Higgs self-couplings can reveal the existence of new fundamental mass scales and signal the presence of new fundamental physics phenomena beyond the Standard Model. In this talk, I will review the characteristics of possible future e+e- colliders and emphasize their prospects for extending the reach of the precision Higgs program of the LHC.
