Two-Higgs-doublet models are among the simplest extensions to the Standard Model (SM). The augmented parameter space that comes with the addition of a second Higgs doublet allows them to possibly solve some of the shortcomings of the SM, and opens the window to a plethora of new phenomena to be discovered. The introduction of scalar-mediated tree-level flavour-changing neutral currents may be tack

The N2HDM has two doublets and a real singlet. If one abandons the Z2 symmetry under which the singlet is odd, then there is a region of parameter space in which there is a phase during the electroweak transitions in which U(1)_em is broken. This leads (temporarily) to a photon mass and charge nonconservation, which implies W-photon, top-bottom and neutrino-electron mixing (and even leads to

Axion is one of the prominent candidates of dark matter (DM).
In particular, the axion in the keV scale is phenomenologically interesting.
Because given that the axion has an interaction with electrons, it can be probed by electron recoil events in DM direct detection experiments.
We construct a concrete renormalizable model that predicts axion DM in keV scale, three Higgs doublet model with

Detecting symmetries in multi-Higgs doublet models (NHDM) is a challenge due to the basis freedom of these models. To overcome this, a formalism based on relations among basis-covariant objects has recently been tried in the 3HDM. Within this framework we show using representation theory that simple necessary and sufficient conditions for custodial symmetry, verifiable in any basis, can be derived

In extended Higgs models, a discrete symmetry is needed in the quark sector to avoid tree-level flavor-changing neutral currents. However, this is not necessarily the case in the lepton sector. We consider a model in which one Higgs couples to quarks and three others couple to the electron, muon, and tau, respectively. This four-doublet model is presented with the full scalar potential and the gau

CP4 3HDM is a three-Higgs-doublet model based on the CP symmetry of order 4 (CP4). In Yukawa sector, there are eight possible scenarios satisfying CP4 symmetry. Similar to other multi-Higgs models, Yukawa sectors unavoidably induce tree-level flavor-changing neutral couplings (FCNC), meson oscillation parameters strongly constraint FCNC. In this work, we explore whether FCNC can be sufficiently su

Conditions for soft breaking of the six symmetries (CP1, CP2, CP3, Z_2, U(1) and SO(3)) of the 2HDM potential were formulated in terms of 11 physical parameters consisting of masses and couplings. This led to the discovery of hitherto unknown symmetries of the 2HDM potential. A transformation into imgaginary space-time leaves the potential as well as the kinetic terms of the Lagrangian invariant.

I discuss the SU(2) triplet extension of the Standard Model as the origin of the 95 GeV di-photon excess. We show that for a small mixing angle with the Standard Model Higgs, the neutral component of the triplet has a sizable branching ratio to γγ. Consequently, we make several precise predictions: 1) a positive shift in the mass of the W-boson, 2) associated production of photons alongside tau
